Mrs. Haley Clark

Haley Clark is a Chico native and a mother to Theron, Liberty and Ansel. After retiring from the sport of swimming to have children in 2004 she began searching for a way to combine her two favorite things: babies and swimming!

Swim lessons were the perfect venue for her energies.  She believes in continuing education and because of this, her program is constantly evolving to keep up with the latest research and innovations.  She has done extensive research in an attempt to bring the very best to the children of Chico.

Her goal as a swim teacher is simple: To provide the most jam packed, valuable half hour that a kid can have in a week.  While short term goals are to teach children to swim as quickly and efficiently as possible she is hoping that they leave her classroom with skills that will last a lifetime.  Manners, respect, friendship, patience, listening skills, confidence, independence, and of course fitness are all practiced at each lesson.

As a swimmer she has 21 years of daily experience.  Her accolades include an athletic scholarship to UC Berkeley, Pac 10 Swimmer of the Year, four National Championship titles, four World Championship titles, one world record, one Olympic silver medal, twenty three NCAA All-American titles, and numerous American records.
